Super-Grip is an air-dry, non-skid fabric coating made with a tackified synthetic rubber formula that is quick and easy to apply. The unique coating bonds to most fabrics and other absorbent materials to help prevent slipping, skidding, and shifting of rugs, mats, runners, fabric backs, and more.

How does Super-Grip application work?

1. Clean and dry the surface. Dust, oils, and moisture reduce adhesion. Most guides recommend thoroughly cleaning the back of the rug, mat, or fabric first.
2. Shake the  an well. Shaking before spraying helps distribute the rubberized coating evenly.
3. Spray light, even coats. Hold the can about 6-8 inches away and spray in a crosshatch or perimeter pattern rather than soaking the entire surface immediately. Thin coats reduce absorption and improves grip.
4. Let the surface air dry and cure. Super-Grip becomes touch-dry relatively quickly, but full curing generally takes several hours. Leave to dry overnight before heavy use.
5. Super-Grip creates friction. After curing, the rubberized surface grips flooring better than bare fabric. It remains flexible and machine washable when properly applied.

Does Super-Grip hold up in hot wash cycles?

To maintain durability, we recommend washing the fabric in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle and drying on low heat.

Will Super-Grip transfer onto or yellow surfaces?

Super-Grip is specifically formulated to not yellow surfaces or transfer residue once properly cured. We recommend applying multiple light coats instead of a single heavy coat, and letting it cure overnight before use.

Is Super-Grip safe to use?

Super-Grip is formulated for consumer use. Be sure to apply Super-Grip in a well-ventilated area and always read the can directions for further precautions before applying. This product is not intended for clothing.
